Fluid Audio unveils new 2×2 recording interface

Fluid Audio has announced that it is now shipping its SRI-2 Recording Interface, which doubles as a monitor switching box for two pairs of monitors.

The SRI-2 offers wide dynamic range and very low self-noise. Analogue signals are converted to 24-bit / 192 kHz, while the Class A mic preamps with 48V phantom power together with the transparent A/D converters are designed to deliver accurate recording detail.

The two combo inputs on the SRI-2 are placed on the front panel, while the housing is angled towards the user, making it easier to access knobs and buttons.

The USB 2.0 connection provides sufficient power to operate large professional headphones without volume restrictions, whether on a desk or in a portable capacity. The SRI-2 comes with Steinberg’s Cubase LE DAW software package, and is also compatible with other popular DAWs such as Pro Tools, Studio One, Ableton Live and Logic Pro.

The SRI-2 is available now with a street price of $229.99 USD/€219.99.
