Absolute Sound and Lighting looks to dBTechnologies

Brand new event company Absolute Sound and Lighting (ASL), which offers a range of equipment and professional services, has selected dBTechnologies speaker systems.

Managing directors Steve Teunis and Camryn Brown decided that the region, which is equidistant from Queensland’s Sunshine Coast and Brisbane, needed another event production company to cater for the growing population and tourist market.

“We have a dBTechnologies box for every occasion,” said Brown, listing the inventory which includes the DVA Line Array, FlexSys mid-high units, S20 subwoofers, DVX series monitors and the digital Opera series. “In fact, we have enough boxes to mix and match for every venue we come across,” he explains. “We’ve got the line array, and then for those narrow smaller venues when we don’t need to throw so far, the FlexSys can be used with the S20 subwoofers.”

ASL offers both lighting and backline, as well as PA hire, providing professional equipment for all kinds of events, from weddings, to live bands. Professional sound engineers can also be provided.

Supplied by dBTechnologies distributor CMI Audio and Music Pty, the additional dBTechnologies gear was a clear choice, claims pro audio product specialist, Andy McIntyre: “Steve already had a few dBTechnologies boxes and was really happy with them.

“ASL is among a growing number of users who are choosing dBTechnologies,” continued McIntyre. “It is becoming the brand of choice for many production companies around the country. We at CMI very much look forward to continuing to grow with ASL and its other partners and welcome ASL into the dBTechnologies partner network.”
