Adamson introduces Project Energia V2.5 Preset Library

Loudspeaker manufacturer Adamson has announced the introduction of the new Project Energia V2.5 Preset Library, which is now in use on the current Linkin Park tour of North America.

In his capacity of director of loudspeaker development, Ben Cabot was tasked with optimising and streamlining the setup and performance of Adamson’s new E15 system. He explained: “We used Boundary Element analysis with hundreds of incremental acoustic measurements on all possible array configurations to develop V2.5. We definitely got the job done.”

"The release of the library makes Energia an even more powerful solution in concert touring and fixed install. V2.0 maximizes headroom, coverage and sonic purity throughout venues of various size and shape making the job for a systems engineer that much easier,” added Jesse Adamson.

Energia Beta partners around the world are currently fielding the new presets on major summer tours and festivals, while reporting the results to Adamson’s R&D department.

Adamson CEO, Brock Adamson concluded: "The expansion of our software and electrical engineering team is a big step in introducing new technology into our product. Our team has grown significantly in the past two years and the results are becoming evident. V2.5 is a powerful tool and though we have only been fielding it for a few weeks, the feedback has been remarkable."
