AES to host webinar on turning ideas into great products

The AES Audio Product Education Institute (APEI) is set to host a webinar on Wednesday 21 April all about developing concepts into audio products and bringing them to market. 

The latest in a series of similar events, the webinar is titled Working with Product Development and Design Houses to Bring Audio Products to Market and will be moderated by supply chain and sourcing experts David Lindberg from DB Enterprises and Mike Klasco from Menlo Scientific.

The online event will focus on working with experienced product development and design teams to turn concepts into market-ready products. 

Sharing their experience will be Tom Keegan, Program Manager at Tact Product Developmen along with Chris Fruhauf, Partner at Alloy Product Development and Kaethe Henning, Director of Business at Alloy Product Development.

Both of these companies are based in Silicon Valley where they work with both consumer tech giants as well as startups. As well as working on the some of the most cutting-edge audio products launched in recent months, both firms also offer supply chain management and manufacturing operations consulting.

The webinar session will cover the role of product development and design houses as a resource for the audio industry and manufacturers. It will also look specially at how to bring products to market in 2021 and launch new products at scale.
