Amphion BaseTwo25 Named NAMM TEC Award Nominee

Finnish loudspeaker manufacturers Amphion have announced that BaseTwo25 has been named a 2022 NAMM TEC Award Nominee in the Outstanding Technical Achievement – Studio Monitors category.

The latest iteration of Amphion’s pioneering series of low-end extension systems that were initially launched in 2015, BaseTwo25 is a powerful and flexible studio tool designed to provide clarity and insight in the low-end while also transforming any 2-way monitoring system into a seamless full range 3-way system. It has quickly become a favourite of top producers like Finneas O’Connell [Billie Eilish] and Daniel Wayne Sermon [Imagine Dragons], as well as mastering and mixing engineers such as Henkka Niemistö [Stormzy] and Cenzo Townshend [U2] in their Atmos setups.

Presented by the NAMM Foundation, the TEC Awards are the pro audio and musical instrument industries’ most prestigious honours, celebrating the spirit of innovation and honouring best-in-class products in the pro audio community. Voting begins today and will be open through March 31, 2022. The winners will be announced at the NAMM TEC Awards Show in Anaheim, CA on June 4, 2022.
