Avid advances its line of studio monitors

Avid has announced that it is advancing its BX monitor line in a bid to offer a new look with an improved sound.

The BX D2 series comprise the BX8 D2 and the BX5 D2 and features technology leveraged from high-end M-Audio monitors. They also utilise Kevlar low-frequency drivers and waveguide-loaded silk dome tweeters, designed to provide defined bass and clear highs.

The BX8 D2 comes with an 8” woofer and 130 watts of distributed power and the BX5 D2 is equipped with a 5” woofer and features 70 watts of distributed power.
