Sennheiser UK has announced that it has secured exclusive UK distribution rights for microphone specialists Reinhardt and recording products manufacturer Nagra at the BVE 2012 show at London’s Earls Court.

Danish, family run business Reinhardt manufactures a range of microphone windshields and mounts that are suitable for all microphone applications, such as live performance, location recording and broadcast, studio recording and broadcast, as well as installed sound. The range offers a vast array of pull-on fur windsocks for many types of microphone, foam windshields, which come in a multitude of styles and colours and lightweight pistol grips.

“Reinhardt windshields are the ideal complement to Sennheiser’s industry-leading microphones,” said Sennheiser UK’s business development specialist Alan March. “A high quality windsock or windshield can make a huge difference to the quality of the audio that reaches the microphone diaphragm. We are very pleased to distribute a brand that can help users to further enhance the use of our products.”

"As Sennheiser is without doubt, the world leader in professional sound equipment, Reinhardt is pleased to appoint Sennheiser UK as our distributor,” added Reinhardt’s Rodney Wilkins. “All Reinhardt products are manufactured by a small team of dedicated craftsmen, which is completely in harmony with the Sennheiser reputation of quality and reliability."

Sennheiser UK also utilised the BVE platform to announce its appointment as exclusive UK distributor for Nagra, which has been producing professional recording products for over 55 years and manufacturers a range of products for the radio, television, music, cinema and security industries.

“Nagra and Sennheiser have always had good contact historically and our products have a real synergy,” said John Owens, Nagra’s international sales manager. “When it became obvious that the time was right for us to find a local agent in the UK, we immediately thought of Sennheiser. Both companies’ products have become industry standards and are seen as the Rolls Royces of the audio industry. This is a great marriage.”
