European Festival Awards finalists announced

Following more than 620,000 votes from live music fans all over the world, the finalists for the 2013 European Festival Awards have been revealed.

The winners will be announced at a gala show on Wednesday January 15th 2014 at De Oosterpoort in Groningen, Netherlands.

Over 360 festivals from 34 different countries were involved this year – a new record.

James Drury, managing director of Festival Awards Ltd – organiser of the Awards – said: "This has been a record-breaking year for the European Festival Awards and the hardest-fought competition we’ve had.
