First Dolby Atmos post facility in France

Paris-based post-production facility Ink Production has become the first French facility to be fitted with Dolby Atmos. Starting in June 2013, En Solitaire, directed by Christophe Offenstein and produced by Gaumont / Les Films du Cap, will be the first French feature film mixed in Dolby Atmos at Ink Production.
“Since it was launched a year ago, the industry response to Dolby Atmos has been incredibly positive, and it’s fast becoming the preferred choice for next-generation sound in the cinema across the globe,” said Julian Pinn, Director, Cinema Marketing, Dolby Laboratories. “Ink Production is joining a growing number of post-production facilities across the globe and we really look forward to hearing the results of their efforts.”
“Here at Ink, we always strive to be at the cutting edge of technology innovation and to offer the latest and best to our clients,” said Alexandre Widmer, General Manager at Ink Production. “It’s really exciting to be the first facility in France to have this new system and it speaks volumes about Ink’s position as a leader in post production in France,” he added.
