Greiner Engineering Sum.mation announced

Californian manufacturer Greiner Engineering Tools and KMR Audio have introduced the Greiner Engineering Sum.mation, a sixteen channel analogue summing mixer with DAW-controlled automation.

Designed to combine the benefits of analogue equipment with the precision of digital systems, Sum.mation avoids unnecessary AD/DA conversion stages and inter-sample latency problems. Simply connect analogue outboard at the end of the chain into Sum.mation and let the included plug-in control the volume of the summing box without affecting the settings of your units. Sum.mation sports a super transparent VCA design with extremely low noise and distortion and high current output.

The included plug-in controls the volume of Sum.mation inside any DAW and is AudioUnit, VST, and AAX compatible. PC and Mac Compliant, it doesn’t require any drivers. Additionally, Sum.mation is infinitely expandable meaning that many units can be cascaded adding further inputs as required.

The Greiner Engineering Sum.mation is available to purchase in the UK and Germany from KMR Audio.
