IBC 2012: Executive keynote line up confirmed

A number of key additions to the executive line up of IBC 2012 Conference keynote speakers have been announced today (August 1st).

The keynote sessions are the centre-piece of the conference and feature some of the most significant figures in the industry today, from traditional broadcasters to advertising giants, including The Walt Disney Company, Samsung, BBC and Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide. 

“The Keynote Sessions set the tone and agenda for our conference by establishing the key themes and hot topics which are further explored throughout the programme,” said Michael Lumley, IBC’s Conference Chairman. “The speakers are industry leaders whose vision and wisdom help push the boundaries. Roger will also discuss how changes in the industry will affect the games. In his 60 Second Interview, Mosey highlights that ‘You can devise your own Olympic coverage, instead of us choosing it for you.’ and will build on this theme throughout his keynote session.

David is currently Executive Vice President Global Media & CEO Advisor, Samsung Electronics, South Korea and has had a fascinating career as President of AOL Media, running two production studios located in LA and NY as well as more than 150 different web
properties, before which he headed all of Google’s Content Partnerships with leading media and internet companies around the world, most notably for YouTube. This keynote will see David elaborate on his role leading Samsung’s plans to develop a global media strategy for their offering of digital TVs, displays, smartphones, tablets and other connected devices.
