ISE 2012: Shure adds to Microflex line with MX150 and MX153

Shure has expanded its Microflex Microphone Series with the launch of the MX150 lavalier and MX153 earset microphones at ISE 2012 in Amsterdam.

The company’s Microflex line is designed for installed applications, providing audio consultants and integrators a variety of form factors to meet the demands of most wired or wireless installation microphones.

The MX150 is a professional subminiature condenser lavalier microphone, intended for discreet placement and speech applications. Its Kevlar-reinforced, soft-flex cable aims to reduce handling noise while the multi-position tie clip allows for a variety of positioning options. Its snap-fit, concise windscreen protects from plosives and wind noise.

Built to provide optimum speech clarity the Shure MX153 is an omnidirectional subminiature earset microphone, which is principally suited to corporate and educational presentations, as well as A/V conferencing. Furthermore, it is designed to allow for fast placement with minimal adjustment and is available in three colours (matte black, tan, cocoa.) The new Microflex earset also comes with a protective storage pouch, three windscreens and a collar clip.

The CommShield Technology guarding against interferences from cellular RF devices and digital bodypack transmitters is included in both new Microflex microphone options.

Shure’s new MX150 lavalier and MX153 earset will become available early next year.
