ISE 2012: Yamaha to give European debut to DXR loudspeakers and MGP mixers

Yamaha will be giving a European debut to its new DXR series of active loudspeakers and MGP mixers at this year’s ISE show in Amsterdam.

The DXR series comprises four full-range models – the DXR8, DXR10, DXR12 and DXR15. Each features a 1100W Class D amplifier, providing an SPL of up to 133dB, designed to deliver deep bass, clear mid-range and accurate high frequencies. Additional features include FIR-X tuning and D-CONTOUR dynamic multi-band processing.

Designed in conjunction with NEXO, the DXR series can be used across a wide range of applications, including installation in commercial and public premises, such as churches and schools.

The company will also be showcasing its other ranges of loudspeakers, amplifiers and audio processors, including an array of its MY series I/O cards.

Also making its first European appearance will be the MGP series of mixers. The MGP12X and MGP16X respectively offer 12 or 16 channels in footprints measuring 348mm or 447mm wide by 495mm deep.

The WORKproCA range of contractor installation products will be another feature of the Yamaha stand, where staff will be available to chat to visitors and explain the options available with the company’s installation products.
