ISE 2014: Genelec to show off new 4000 Series model

Genelec will introduce the latest addition to its 4000 Series of loudspeakers aimed specifically at the AV install market at ISE 2014 (Stand 3-C90).

Offering "premium performance and installation friendly features," according to the manufacturer, Genelec sees the 4000 Series as the benchmark loudspeaker range for the systems integration sector.

“I am really looking forward to introducing the new model to the ISE 2014 delegates,” commented Lars-Olof Janflod, PR and marketing director at Genelec. “Since its launch the 4000 Series has been embraced by the install market worldwide. We are expanding the range to include a new product that will broaden the appeal of the series and reinforce our position as a leading loudspeaker brand for fixed audio installations.”

The 4000 Series models are ideal for music playback and demanding speech amplification projects, which makes them perfect for critical commercial installations.

The Directivity Control Waveguide delivers broad, flat coverage for precise imaging in all environments, while Practical Room Response Controls optimise the speaker’s tonal characteristics for various situations. Once installed, overload protection ensures reliability and 12 V contact closure enables seamless integration with all in-house automation or AV-control systems.

They are also fully compliant with the Energy Related Products (ERP) Directive, which requires that standby power consumption for any product is less than 0.5 Watts, due to the presence of Intelligent Signal-Sensing (ISS) technology.

ISE 2014 takes place at Amsterdam RAI from February 4th to 6th 2013.
