IsoAcoustics unveils Aperta Sub isolation stand for subwoofers

IsoAcoustics has expanded its range of isolation gear with the Aperta Sub, a new isolation stand for subwoofers.

The Canadian acoustic isolation experts designed the Aperta Sub to cope with subwoofers weighing up to 80 pounds (36.3 kg).

While room treatment can be expensive, the Aperta Sub is an affordable option for helping to reduce noise disturbance from subwoofers, while also delivering better audio.

Sporting a simple design, the Aperta Sub features top and bottom isolators connected by a rigid frame that lifts the subwoofer off the floor.

The compact unit measures 10.5 x 11.5 x 1.3in (265 x 290 x 33mm) and is designed to be used with both front-firing and side-firing subwoofers. It also includes carpet discs with 0.6in (15mm) spikes that anchor into carpeted floors.

The IsoAcoustics Aperta Sub is available now in the U.S and due to arrive in the UK on 7 June with a price tag of $149.99/£149.
