Social Media and Affiliates Manager

We are looking for an energetic, passionate and creative Social Media Manager to join our team.

As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our social media presence and share of voice as well as drive traffic to our websites.

You will also use social to drive and create affiliate marketing campaigns for our clients and upload and monitor campaigns.

You will be working closely with the Editorial department in UK and US on a daily basis as our social media leader to review and develop our strategy moving forward.

We’re based at Tileyard Studios, Kings Cross, London opposite a gym, bar and live venue and you get VIP membership access to all of them!

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and manage our social media content, in line with our strategy, across our platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter)
  • Manage and update the monthly social media and affiliate calendar
  • Ongoing community management
    Define our social media KPIs and review these monthly
  • Manage and oversee social media content by
    Curating relevant content from articles and editorials, videos (as gifs etc) etc
  • Briefing and/or creating specific content around the AMI story or campaign specifics
  • Creation, implementation and management of a paid-advertising strategy, ensuring advertising objectives are agreed in advance and reviewed
  • Set up and manage a reporting doc and calendar
  • Measure the success of every social media campaign implemented
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies and what this means for content moving forward
  • Manage and use social media marketing tools such as Hootsuite, Spark, Adobe suite and Buffer
  • Work with editorial to ensure content is engaging and appealing whilst meeting social media best practice
  • Collaborate with Editorial, Marketing and Sales teams
  • Upload AMI adverts via Ad Inserter Pro in Wordpress
  • Review SEO findings, website analytics and user engagement and suggest content optimisation
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network; use this network to agree collaborative social media campaigns as well as feeding into overall Content Marketing and PR planning

Requirements and qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Social Media Manager
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter as well as platform-agnostic social media best practices
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics relevant to social media
  • Wordpress analytics skills to high level and knowledge of Ad Inserter Pro, Monster Insights
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs
  • A self-starter who is able to hit the ground running; ownership of this role is key as this is the first Social Media Manager role in the company
