KMR Audio Richmond having to relocate

KMR Audio has announced it is having to relocate its Richmond office following a decision from its landlord to have the property developed into flats.

The London-based pro-audio gear supplier has been given until the end of this month (September) to vacate the premises, but has offered a positive reaction to the news, stating that "whilst this is a bit of a shame, it has provided the opportunity to accelerate our plans to develop a retail space in the area," in an announcement made by Keith Malin, KMR’s managing director.

The firm has now begun searching for a suitable new location south of the River Thames to open "a proper shop," which it says is likely to take several months.

Malin also added that salesman Rab Nath and marketing manager Paul Lavigne, who have been running the Richmond office together, remain "fully operational" and will carry on their work at the new premises once it has been established.

As well as Richmond, KMR Audio also has a North London HQ on High Road, Whetstone.
