Mark Knopfler?s British Grove Studios acknowledged with API award

British Grove Studios was recently recognised with the accolade of Best Studio in the API Awards at this year’s PLASA event.

The recording facility, which is based in Chiswick, West London, is owned by rock legend and former Dire Straits frontman Mark Knopfler. Since opening back in 2005 a number of high-profile artists have recorded work at the studios, including Razorlight, Travis, Ronan Keating, The Last Shadow Puppets and Knopfler himself.

In addition the studios’ recent success in the API Awards, the facility was also named Best Studio by the Music Producers Guild back in 2009.
