Metropolis Group wins Coca-Cola 2012 Olympic deal

Metropolis Group and Coca-Cola have announced a their new partnership as part of the drink manufacturer’s London 2012 Olympic push.

The music group has put together a programme of events at its Metropolis Studios in West London, which will consist of a number of hands-on ‘rock star experiences’ and will run throughout the games in July and August.

Coca-Cola’s VIP guests will be offered the chance to live a day in the life of a rock; recording vocals, instruments, and remixing Mark Ronson’s & Katy B’s Olympic anthem, which was originally part recorded at Metropolis Studios for Coca-Cola.

Guests will also be able to attend a masterclass with Metropolis’ Grammy award-winning engineers – from mixing the multitracks, to mastering and experiencing a live vinyl cut.

Metropolis Group CEO, Ian Brenchley, commented: “This is a fantastic opportunity to work with Coca-Cola again. All eyes will be on London this summer and working with Coca-Cola to come up with such an exciting and unparalleled experience has been amazing. We are recognised as the Home of Recorded Music, and for two weeks we are going to be the Olympic Home of Coca-Cola."
