Monacor tackles digital switchover with new microphone systems

Monacor has introduced a brand new pair of license free multi-frequency microphone systems in the form of the TXS-611SET and TXS-631SET.

Designed to tackle any potential issues to arise from the digital switchover, the hand-held TXS-611SET microphone transmitter and the TXS-631SET – a pocket transmitter with tie clip microphone – both operate on the licence free 863-865MHz frequency and come with 80 selectable channels.

Neil Clayton, managing director of Monacor UK, commented: “With all the changes from the digital switchover the wireless microphone sector has become a very complicated issue, with many customers not knowing what they can & cannot use. These licence free models take this burden away & lets the user get on with what they brought them for.”

Both the TXS-611SET and TXS-631SET feature ACT functionality for transmitting the selected frequency to the transmitter via infrared signal. Other features include automatic scan, volume and squelch controls, and channel and battery status.
