Music Group connects with Neutrik

Music Group has entered into a new agreement with connector specialist Neutrik, which will see all of the Group’s Behringer and Bugera products incorporate Neutrik’s trademark REAN components.

The agreement is the latest in a number of initiatives undertaken by Music Group over the past 12 months, following the surprise announcement of a three-year warranty launched at NAMM in January that covers all Behringer and Bugera products.

“We have been using Neutrik components on all of our Midas and Klark Teknik products for decades and started to use Neutrik products on the X32 digital mixer; we have come to respect both the company and their products in the process,” said Music Group founder and CEO, Uli Behringer. “In our relentless drive to build the world’s best pro audio products we are switching over to REAN components (a trademark of Neutrik) on all Behringer and Bugera products.”

The Group produces more than five million products per year in its own factory, including Midas, Klark Teknik, Behringer and Bugera brands, with the firm now building complex 14-layer PCBs with fully automated Optical and X-Ray inspection, automated axial insertion and full safety and compliance labs on-site at its factory.

Neutrik representative Mr. Bachmann commented: “We have visited the Music Group factory on several occasions over the years and continue to be impressed with its organisation and commitment to quality. We are proud to be considered a key vendor and look forward to a long and successful relationship.”

Behringer and Bugera products will begin to incorporate REAN components (a trademark of Neutrik) immediately, with the goal of full conversion by year-end.
