NAB 2012: Solid State Logic showcases broadcast demo vehicle

Solid State Logic is currently showcasing its new Broadcast Demonstration Vehicle on the main floor at the Las Vegas NAB 2012 show.

The 30-foot truck features a C10 HD Compact Broadcast Console, the full range of SSL Broadcast I/O and broadcast technologies from its partners Genelec, Miranda and RTS, all housed in a RBDG-designed environment.

“We put this vehicle together to show how the C10 seamlessly integrates into an HD audio production environment,” said Piers Plaskitt, CEO of SSL. “Our guests will have the opportunity to see the equipment set in a realistic environment and they can also schedule a future appointment for an on-site visit at their facility. Taking the vehicle to a customer’s site allows the extended staff from broadcast stations, sports arenas, houses of worship and our network of educational clients to witness the power of SSL technology in their own backyard.”

The truck joins the dedicated C100 HDS and C10 HD broadcast console demo areas, with their associated routing and I/O solutions, at the booth. Also on offer will be a demonstration area for SSL’s Integration I/O Range and the multi award-winning Nucleus DAW Controller/audio interface.
