NAMM 2012: Aviom introduces SK6 Stage Kit for AllFrame multi-modular I/O system

Aviom is to introduce the SK6 Stage Kit for the AllFrame multi-modualr I/O system at NAMM 2012, while also releasing an updated POA80 power over A-Net power supply assembley for F6 modualr I/O frames.

The SK6 Stage Kit provides an enclosure for the AllFrame to be utilised as a stage box in live applications. The AllFrame multi-modualr I/O system is designed to bring the qualities of the company’s Pro64 audio network to the wall box, stage box or floor pocket. While the AllFrame is intended to provide ideal solutions for permanent installations, with the SK6 it is also suitable for touring and portable live sound applications.

At the centre of the AllFrame system is the F6 modular I/O frame, a multi-purpose network frame with field-configurable I/O card slots and integrated Cat-5e and fibre optic connectivity. The F6 can be configured to meet the demands of most applications with C4m Mic/Line input cards and C40 output cards, as well as the soon-to-be-released C4dio digital I/O cards.

Mounting options for the F6 include on-wall or in-wall mounting using a standard NEMA Type 1 enclosure or rack-mounting, with connectors facing the front or rear, using the RK6 Rack-Mount Kit for F6. The SK6 Stage Kit for F6 now allows for AllFrame I/O boxes to be used as drop-boxes on stage as well.

The F6 can be powered in a number of ways, including a four-pin XLR connector, a Euroblock connector or one of the Cat-5 A-Net ports. Installations that use Power Over A-Net must use the new Aviom-approved POA80. Aviom recently updated this product to offer optimum protection against voltage surges and to deliver enhanced flexibility for users.
