NAMM 2012: Mackie launches DL1608

Mackie is unveiling the DL1608, a 16-channel digital live sound mixer with iPad control.

The company’s latest console combines the power of a full-featured digital mixer with the portability of an iPad and features 16 Onyx mic preamps, 24-bit Cirrus Logic AD/DA converters, six aux sends for monitor mixes, Master L/R output and an ultra low-noise, high headroom design.

iPad control allows the user to mix from anywhere in the venue, as well as tweak the EQ, dynamics, effects and more. The mixer can even support up to 10 tablets.

The DL1608 will be shown in the Mackie Demo Room 209A when the NAMM show opens at 10am LA time.
Loud Technologies is the UK distributor for Mackie.
