New ‘home to the live industry’ launching at PRO Show

Production Park, a new live events business based in Yorkshire, has signed a three-year headline sponsorship deal with the PRO Performance and Venue Technology Show 2015, due to be held at the NEC in Birmingham from 12 to 14 September 2015.

Set up ‘to give a home to the live industry’ in the UK, the company has secured itself as the official PRO sponsor for 2015, 2016 and 2017, and will use this year’s event for its full launch.

Production Park offers 300,000 sqft of live events space based in South Kirkby, Wakefield, with no noise restrictions. It features five studios, including three measuring more than 17,500 sq ft each, along with a number of events businesses.

Still expanding, it labels itself as ‘a playground for the live events industry with everything under one roof, enabling big ideas, big productions and big creations to be nurtured, developed and realised in one place.’

Co-founder of Production Park, Lee Brooks, explained the company’s choice of launch platform: "We chose PRO because we feel it has a real affiliation with Production Park. It is fast becoming one of the most important networking events for our industry and we believe that it is going to keep getting bigger and better every year," he said. "It’s exciting to be involved in an exhibition which has so much energy and enthusiasm behind it, making it the perfect choice for the Production Park launch."

PRO’s sales director Mark Walsh added: "This partnership comes at a very exciting time for PRO. We are so pleased that we have secured the three-year deal with Production Park. Our vision and theirs are very similar, to build an exciting and vibrant future for our industry."

In addition to the Headline Sponsorship, Production Park has also been confirmed as co-host of the PRO After Show Party set to take place at Nuvo in Brindley Place, Birmingham on Sunday 13 September.
