Outline systems at Wembley for NFL International Series

A number of Outline loudspeakers systems were set up at London’s Wembley Stadium for the recent NFL International Series.

Three matches were held at the venue: Miami Dolphins versus the Oakland Raiders, the Atlanta Falcons taking on the Detroit Lions and the Jacksonville Jaguars’ showdown with the Dallas Cowboys.

Robert Lawrence Event Production Resource installed numerous solutions from the Italian manufacturer – such as Butterfly, Mantas, DVS 118 SW subs, Doppia, DVS 12 and DVS 10 – in several large areas outside the ground.

Each game had sold out the 90,000-seat stadium, and fans had a number of pre-game opportunities available to them, including live music on the Main Stage, the Tailgate party, and VIP areas to explore during the build-up to each match.

The final game of the year, the Jacksonville Jaguars against the Dallas Cowboys, saw a large mobile Orbit Stage built, and performances were carried out using Butterfly and Mantas speakers, as well as DVS 118 SW subs. The Stage featured live sets from various bands, along with cheerleader shows and Q&A sessions with NFL greats.

Lawrence Marchington, managing director of Robert Lawrence EPR, said: “The NFL is one of the world’s biggest brands, and NFL games are followed all over the world. The international series at Wembley is a growing project that we are proud to be involved in. The versatility of Outline Audio’s range makes distributing different sound requirements to different areas easier.”
