Polar Audio at ISE 2012

Polar Audio will be out in force at the upcoming ISE 2012 show in Amsterdam, with representatives on each of its distributed brands stands.

Polar Audio brands exhibiting at the show, which takes place at the Amsterdam RAI from January 31st-February 2nd, include Biamp, beyerdynamic, Aviom, Cue System, Australian Monitor and Novosonar.

Highlights of the show will include new touch-screen technology from Cue Systems, presentations from Biamp on its Tesira range and AVB technology (Audio Video Bridging). AVB is designed to bridge the gap between AV and IT by providing the first open, industry-accepted standards (IEEE 802) for transporting audio and video over the network.

Biamp Tesira, the first truly scalable network using AVB (audio video bridging), is a networked audio system that supports 420×420 channels of digitally matrixed audio with flexible I/O configurations. Unlike some other DSP-based media systems, Tesira is an enterprise-wide solution made up of network modules that are intended to share and boost performance. It is equipped with modular scalable inputs and outputs, DSPs and networked end-points, providing system design capabilities for unlimited scenarios, including centralised, distributed and hybrid-type applications. Integrators also have the option of customising Tesira with up to eight DSPs in a single chassis with up to 420 by 420 audio channels over a scalable digital media backbone (AVB).
