POLARaudio and Saville AV turn out for Leeds United

POLARaudio and Saville AV teamed up recently to install a customised audio solution for the brand new conference suite at Leeds United’s Elland Road stadium.

The stadium’s conference suites are presented on three levels, with capacity for 300 delegates on the second floor and four separate areas incorporating the upper levels, each suitable for 150 delegates, rendering the venue ideal for business meetings and conferences.

POLARaudio and Saville AV worked together to provide a PA system for the five corporate hospitality suits in the new east wing extension. The solution is designed to provide each of the presentation rooms within the conference suite with playback of media and full AV presentation facilities. Each of the rooms is equipped with stereo laptop input, stereo auxiliary input, four beyerdynamic radio microphones, including handheld and lavalier options and an induction loop audio system.

Due to the constraints of the sizes and shapes of the rooms, a combination of 40 Australian Monitor ceiling speakers and 16 high powered front-fill speakers work together to offer optimum coverage and intelligibility. The entire system is managed via a Biamp AudiaFlex advanced digital sound processor for the processing and routing of all audio signals in throughout the facility.

Mark Bromfield, business development manager, POLARaudio commented: “The project was a resounding success. We worked closely with the Colin Firth and Darren Barber of Saville AV. Working with a prestigious client like Leeds United FC there were numerous challenges to overcome, not least the issues posed by installing a multi-channel radio microphone systems in close proximity, within a limited frequency range.”
