Audio PR agency Starscream celebrates 8th birthday with artists, BAFTA winners, media and clients

Audio PR agency Starscream Communications celebrated their 8th Birthday with a bang on 14th October.

Starscream hosted a party at their office HQ at Tileyard London with media, friends, artists, labels, producers, engineers and clients. Some friendly faces included members of the Government Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, journalists from The Sun, The Times, Tech Radar, What Hi-Fi? Music Tech, Guitar.com, Louder and Clash Music, BAFTA winning rapper Vic Santoro and record-breaking artist Minhee Jones, plus songwriters and producers from Tileyard London. Focusrite, Neumann, Studiocare, Unhurd and more also made it along for the evening.

The Starscream team went all out to make sure it was a night to remember with DJ (Izaak from Earth), custom Starscream cocktails and delicious food made by the great team at Vinyl Cafe.

When the night came to an end, the team gifted guests bags containing Starscream merch and other goodies from Big Indie Records and Meze Audio.

Starscream had a great time hosting live events. CEO Richard Melville commented “It’s great to hold a event again and so good to see a great mix of industry people and artists having a drink after a difficult time for everyone, really. We look forward to doing more events for the community and industry as the lack of industry conventions or networking events shouldn’t stop us”.

Journalist Steve May from Louder, Metro, T3 and formely of Sounds (coining the term ‘goth music’) said “trust Starscream to add some rock ‘n’ roll glitz to their birthday celebration. Not only do they party at a really fun venue, but they get the in-crowd turning up too!”
