Prolight + Sound Guangzhou 2015

Prolight + Sound Guangzhou is set to expand significantly in 2015, with 130,000 square metres of exhibition space – 18 per cent more than in 2014.

The show will also now occupy 12 halls of the China Import and Export Fair Complex from April 5th to 8th, and is expected to attract nearly 1,300 exhibitors, making it by far China’s largest pro audio and lighting trade fair, the organisers say.

“Already more than 90 per cent of our 2014 exhibitors have signed up for the show. The overwhelming response is largely due to their successful experience last year. They believe that Prolight + Sound Guangzhou is the best platform for launching their products to the Chinese market, especially as we are expecting 70,000 Chinese and international visitors to attend the show,” said Fiona Chiew, deputy general manager for Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai).

The 2014 event featured three Audio Brand Name Halls, which will increase to four next year with the introduction of the new hall 13.2 in Area B.

In addition, to help buyers navigate the larger show floor, exhibitors at the next Prolight + Sound Guangzhou will be divided into different groups – Audio Brand Name Halls, Pro Audio Hall, Lighting Hall, Enping Microphone Halls and KTV Halls. The Enping Microphone Hall will be relocated from Area A to Area B, Hall 12.2.

Exhibiting companies set to return in 2015 include Ableton, Adamson, Avid, AUDAC, beyerdynamic, Carlsbro, Clair Bros, Crown, db Technologies, dbx, DPA, FBT, Funktion-One, KV2, JBL, KRK, Lexicon, Master Audio, Proel, RAM Audio, Sennheiser, Shure, Sonifex, Soundcraft, Soundking, Studer, Studiomaster, and Yamaha.

There will also be a number of brands participating for the first time, such as APG, Architectural Acoustics, Beyma, Crest Audio, DAS, d&b audiotechnik, MediaMatrix, Midas, Neumann, Peavey, Phonic, QSC and Xilica.

Prolight + Sound Guangzhou is co-organised by Messe Frankfurt and the Guangdong International Science and Technology Exhibition Company (STE).
