Sony Creative Software expands Sound Series

Sony Creative Software, a global provider of professional editing and authoring applications, has released a new addition to its Sony Sound Series in the form of Production Music.

Production Music consists of a unique selection of royalty-free music tracks for both commercial and personal use. The Production Music collection is designed to provide customers with immediate access to a range of choices, featuring more than 1600 tracks and consisting of four different cuts – 1ten seconds, 30 seconds, 60 seconds and full length.

The catalogue delivers music in a variety of familiar genres, including ambient/cinematic, country, electronic, jazz, news, pop, rock, urban and Wworld.

Dave Chaimson, vice president of global marketing for Sony Creative Software, said: “Sony Creative Software continues to expand its role in the broadcast and post-production arenas by releasing products that continue to set the standard for professional results. Our Production Music catalogue’s top-notch royalty free tracks add yet another dimension to our extensive line of content products, and provide our customers with even more cost-efficient solutions for differentiated media production. From private screenings to commercial blockbusters, there’s certain to be something for everyone in this incredible new collection.”

Unlike other pieces of production music, which have managed rights and expensive fees, all content in the Sony Sound Series catalogue is royalty-free, providing users with the freedom to use Sound Series assets in a variety of projects, ranging from television and film to worldwide advertising campaigns. A searchable database allows customers to browse the catalogue and audition tracks prior to downloading their purchase for immediate use.
