Sound-Link brings AETA Audio to UK market

Sound-Link ProAudio has been appointed the exclusive UK distributor for AETA Audio Systems.

Based in Paris, AETA Audio Systems manufacturers portable broadcast and recording equipment. The company’s versatile 4MinX recorder incorporates a mixer that can flexibly mix any of the ten inputs to up to eight tracks – or six tracks plus a stereo mixdown. The recorder also features AES3 digital and AES42 digital microphone inputs, as well as optional Soundfield microphone A-format/B-format monitoring.

The MIXY analogue/digital mixer offers the same audio circuits as the 4MinX, and can mix three mic/line inputs plus a stereo line input to pro-level XLRs. It is also equipped with an adjustable M/S sound field, OLED display; Mono, Stereo and M/S modes; as well as AES/SPDIF and USB interfaces.

John Willett, managing director of Sound-Link, said: “I am delighted to be working with AETA; their product range compliments the other products we distribute and comes up to my high standards of excellence. Having been doing location music recording for many years, I don’t like to compromise on quality and neither do AETA.”

AETA Audio Systems’ Christophe Mahoux added: “John Willett is the perfect representative for us in the UK; he has a passion for audio and, as a member of the Audio Engineering Society, he is well known for his great papers and we are delighted to be working with him.”
