Spitfire Audio adds ‘Wondrous Flutes’ to its Abbey Road One film scoring library

Spitfire Audio has expanded on its Abbey Road One: Orchestral Foundations film scoring library with the addition of Wondrous Flutes, featuring two flutes and one piccolo captured in Abbey Road’s iconic Studio One.

The large studio space has seen the recording of numerous classic film scores including Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter.

The new library’s classic cinematic pairing of flutes and piccolo also features new, highly realistic legato patches.

As will all of Spitfire’s film scoring libraries, the new Wondrous Flutes selection features first-call musicians that play on big movie soundtracks, all recorded by multi-Grammy Award-winning engineer Simon Rhodes.

Spitfire’s first partnership with the studio was the Abbey Road One: Orchestral Foundations, a 90-piece symphonic orchestra library.

All of the Abbey Road One selections are housed in Spitfire’s award-winning plug-in with is compatible with all major major DAWs, without the need for additional software.
