Tannoy, Lab.gruppen and Lake to showcase new technology at ISE 2012

Taking place at Amsterdam’s RAI from January 31-February 2nd ISE 2012 will see Tannoy, Lab.gruppen and Lake take to the exhibition floor to showcase a number of new products and innovations.

Tannoy will be utilising the ISE platform to exhibit its brand new VLS (Vertical Line Source) passive column range. With a curvilinear architectural profile designed specifically for install applications, the VLS Series makes its international debut, and is available in three models that each utilise transducer technology adapted from Tannoy’s award-winning QFlex steerable column range.

The full range of Tannoy’s VX Series and VXP Series will also be on display, with the latter featuring Lab.gruppen’s new IDEEA (Intelli-Drive Energy Efficient Amplifier) power module. The new passive and self-powered loudspeakers build on the existing V Series range, with an expanded line-up that includes twin driver configurations and new QCW (Q-Centric Waveguide) transducer technology, designed to provide optimum tonal clarity, LF performance and enhanced pattern control.

Also on the stand will be Tannoy’s QFlex digital beam-steering array loudspeakers, complete with a new set of enhancements intended to offer improved functionality and capabilities for integration within large scale PA/VA applications.

Furthermore, Tannoy will also be showcasing its full range of Commercial Sound loudspeaker products, including the brand new OCV Series pendant open ceiling speakers, the new DVS Series, designed for a range of small-to-medium scale sound reinforcement applications, and its CMS Series and CVS Series.

Lab.gruppen will be taking to the floor to present its new install-centric amplifier range, E Series. The 1U install-centric amplifier platform combines high-power reserves with low-power consumption in order to reduce the total cost of ownership below that of conventional designs. Certified as Energy Star 2.1 compliant, the E Series power amplifiers are designed to provide increased efficiency in terms of both net operating and typical current draw.

The company will also be joining Lake as they exhibit the PLM Series, which incorporates Lake Processing technology, alongside the brand new LM 44 digital audio processor from Lake. These products will demonstrate how Lake processing can be integrated into large-scale installed digital audio applications to offer greater functionality, integration and security via the use of Dante to distribute audio with dual-redundancy, on a digital network.

In addition to the range of products from the three manufacturers, parent company TC Group will also be taking the opportunity to formally launch its new Applications Engineering and Training (AET) group, headed up by Graham Hendry, formerly director of Business Development for Tannoy, who will be on hand to introduce the new group and discuss any project or application-specific enquiries.

Tannoy, Lab.gruppen and Lake will be located at Hall 5 Stand 5R92 at ISE 2012.
