Yamaha appoints Sebastian Rodens as product manager, post-production

Yamaha Commercial Audio has announced the appointment of Steinberg’s Sebastian Rodens as product manager, post-produciton, following the company’s recently-announced European distribution of the Nuendo family of products.

Rodens played an integral role in Nuendo’s European success and his move to Yamaha means that users of the software will experience a seamless transition in pre- and post-sales support.

Yamaha’s reputation as a key manufacturer of live digital mixing consoles and Steinberg’s launch of Nuendo Live are set to expand the appeal of the Nuendo range. However, Sebastian is quick to reassure post-production users that Nuendo will continue to be developed as one of the most advanced software solutions for that market.

“The focus of Nuendo has always been the trio of post production, broadcast and live recording,” said Sebastian. “Post-production remains the focus of the full Nuendo version and, while Nuendo Live saw us take a big step in the direction of live recording, we will take another big step for the post-production side with the next version of Nuendo.

“Users can be assured that Steinberg and Yamaha are working closely together to improve both existing workflows and extend the software with the highest quality post-production features.”
