Adlib adds Soundcraft Vi3000 pair to rental inventory

UK rental company Adlib has expanded its rental stock with a pair of Soundcraft Vi3000 desks, as well as two Realtime Rack plug-in engines from the manufacturer.

Adlib had previously supplied new Soundcraft Vi3000 for installation at Liverpool University and Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, and is now able to offer the console as part of its hire inventory for the first time.

Packaged with a Realtime Rack and utilising the Vi3000’s on-board Dante interface, the compact rental system provides 64-channel recording, virtual soundcheck and integrated UA plug-in capability.

The Vi3000 features an updated version of Soundcraft’s Vistonics interface, coupled with a raft of features suitable for both FOH and monitor applications. With 96 channels to mix plus local I/O and SpiderCore DSP ‘in the box’, the Vi3000 offers built-in Dante and MADI and Lexicon FX and optional UAD Powered Plug-in integration using the Soundcraft Realtime Rack.

Dave Jones, Adlib director, commented: “We have packaged the Vi3000s with a touchscreen interface to the Realtime Rack via a Mac Mini, which can be used for virtual soundcheck and audio playback using the console’s on board Dante interface. This combination makes a very compact 64-channel recording package with integrated plugins."
