AKG releases K812 reference headphones

AKG introduced its K812 reference headphones – with a new open-back design – during PLASA London 2013 this week.

The K812 is equipped with an oversized 53mm driver, which allows it deliver the highest dynamic range ever in a set of AKG headphones. The copper-covered aluminum voice coil extends sounds beyond the limits of human hearing, hitting a complete spectrum of frequencies. Other features include a fast, adjustable headband and soft ear pads, which help to ensure maximum comfort in any application, for long periods of time.
