APRS to host tribute event for Sir George Martin

The APRS (Association of Professional Recording Services) Sound Fellowship Academy are holding a commemorative lunch at The Roof Gardens, London on 3 November 2016 in honour of Sir George Martin.

The lunch will be hosted by Lady Martin and her family and will be a one-off opportunity for the Academy Fellows and the industry to reflect, pay tribute and celebrate the life of the APRS’ former president and his contribution to music recording.

The event will also raise funds for The Monserrat Foundation, a charity started by Lady Judy and Sir George Martin.

Paul Gambacini, American-British radio and television presenter has already confirmed his participation in the luncheon events and Jeremy Lacelles, the son of the late Earl of Harewood, founding President of the APRS, will give the ‘keynote’ address by way of proposing the special ‘Harewood Toast’.

Tickets for the Lunch can be booked online by visiting the website below or calling APRS Head Office on (+44) 01803 868600.
