Behringer X32 gets TEC Award nomination

Behringer’s X32 digital mixing console has been nominated for a TEC Award in the Small Format Mixer category.

With over 20,000 units sold since its introduction on July 27th this year, independent industry statistics have revealed that the X32 has already become the most successful digital console after only two months of availability.

Company founder and CEO, Uli Behringer commented: "I am personally humbled and honoured on behalf of our entire team to have the X32 recognised in this way by our peers in the industry. We set out four years ago not only to create an incredible product but also to transform our business by investing massively in research and technology to become a true innovator. The X32 is a result of the collaboration between world-class Digital engineering teams in Germany and the UK and many of our dedicated team of 250 engineers worldwide.

"It is immensely gratifying to see the results and none speak louder than this esteemed recognition from the TEC Foundation," continued Behringer. "I would like to dedicate this nomination to all of our amazing people inside the Music Group and commend them for this state-of-the-art product."

Administered by the non-profit TEC Foundation for Excellence in Audio, the TEC awards are decided by a wide range of industry professionals and presented at a gala evening event during the annual Winter NAMM Show in Anaheim, California. This year’s awards will be presented on Friday, January 25th, 2013.
