Coda Audio bolsters UK team with new technical sales manager

Coda Audio UK, the newly-created subsidiary of Coda Audio, has appointed Scott Fraser to the position of technical sales manager.

Fraser is an experienced audio professional who has worked across the industry in a number of high level roles. An expert in audio networking, DSP programming, and acoustic modelling, he is also a very experienced sound engineer, system designer and project manager. He has worked with RG Jones, Yamaha and Autograph in locations as diverse as Glastonbury Pyramid Stage, Westminster Abbey and the Sir George Martin Hall in Monserrat.

In recent years, Fraser has travelled the world as a freelancer, commissioning a variety of AV projects but when Coda Audio UK’s managing director, Rich Rowley contacted him, he was unable to turn down the offer.

"I’ve known Rich for a long time and we’ve crossed paths on many occasions over the years. When he contacted me about getting involved with Coda, I was all ears,” said Fraser. “As technical sales manager, my role will be to open up new routes to the UK market, engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including consultants, specifiers, designers and engineers, as well as the traditional ‘buyers’. Opportunities to be involved with something genuinely game-changing are extremely rare and I’m really pleased to be on board."

"Scott is someone whose reputation as a top practitioner in the industry is well deserved. He combines the know-how and hands-on qualities of the most highly qualified engineer with proven sales and marketing skills – put simply, he knows his way around every business and technical aspect of professional audio,” added Coda Audio UK managing director Rich Rowley, in welcoming Fraser to the company. “In recent times Coda Audio has assembled the services of some formidable international talent and Scott fits that bill perfectly. With Steve Norman already in position we’re creating a real A-Team here at Coda Audio UK and I’m excited to have someone of Scott’s calibre on board, helping to drive Coda Audio further and higher."
