Coda Audio names new head of application UK

Coda Audio UK has announced the appointment of Steve Norman to the position of head of application UK.

Norman, a graduate in industrial instrumentation and control, is a highly experienced audio engineer well acquainted with measurement, tuning and system integration, who has enjoyed working on major tours with acts such as Placebo and Massive Attack as well as at festivals including Glastonbury, T in the Park, Latitude and Creamfields.

Norman’s role will be to support Coda systems users with predictions and system packages, assist the sales team with demonstrations and to host scheduled training sessions, in an attempt to help formulate a standardised Coda training structure.

"I’m really pleased that we’ve secured Steve’s services. He is brilliantly qualified for this position, combining a thorough and high-level technical understanding of audio with a wide-range of practical experience, having worked on festivals, major tours and large scale stadium productions,” said Coda Audio UK managing director Rich Rowley. “He’s also a very experienced recording engineer and musician – another invaluable asset in shaping his audio expertise.”

"As a freelance engineer, I was already very familiar with Coda Audio systems, having worked closely with Adlib on a number of projects, all of which served to confirm to me that there is nothing out there that matches Coda’s performance,” Norman remarked. “Coda has, without any doubt, set a new benchmark and so the chance to actually be an integral part of their team is a fantastic opportunity. I genuinely believe that Coda has the best loudspeaker technology in the world and I’m very much looking forward to playing a part in delivering that message."
