Daft Punk pick Behringer for live Grammys set

Behringer‘s BCR2000 controller was central to the audio set-up for Daft Punk’s performance at this year’s Grammy Awards.

The French duo, who appeared on stage with Stevie Wonder, Nile Rodgers, Pharrell Williams and Nathan East, went away with the awards for Album of the Year, Best Dance/Electronica Album, Best Engineered Album, Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Daft Punk still rely on the Behringer gear they’ve used for years – primarily the BCR2000 USB/MIDI controller. A total of 14 BCR2000’s were integrated into the pair’s mixing booth for the Staples Center gig, allowing them to adjust any parameter quickly and easily.

“We are both honoured and humbled that Daft Punk puts their trust in our legacy BCR2000 controller,” said Behringer product specialist Joe Sanborn. “They are in excellent company, as our rapidly growing list of world-class performers can attest. We congratulate Daft Punk on these well-deserved awards, and look forward to being there as they continue to build on their incredible legacy.”
