Focusrite takes RedNet range on the road

Over the coming weeks, Focusrite is providing a unique opportunity to experience the benefits offered by RedNet, its new Ethernet-based recording system.

Visitors will get to find out what the product is capable of by seeing it in action and questioning experts from the company.

The RedNet range offers IP networked audio interfaces for the recording studio, and is ideal for any application where moving high quality audio around with ultra-low latency is a requirement. The technology is based on the Dante Ethernet-based audio network system developed by Audinate – a tried and tested protocol with a strong track record in the live sound environment.

RedNet combines Focusrite’s reputation for high-quality microphone preamps and precise digital audio conversion with high-speed Dante audio networking to create a new audio interface solution that eliminates the need for expensive multiway cables connecting the studio to the control room.
