InfoComm 2012: dBTechnologies presents Audiomusica with Golden DVA T4

dBTechnolgies has presented Audiomusica, the company’s representative for Chile, with a Golden DVA T4 Award as a commendation of its contribution to sales of the line array module.

The special DVA T4 is stamped with serial number 20,000, which also celebrates the sale of the 20,000th unit following its launch just over five years ago.

Marcelo Aravena, business manager of Fancy Music, part of the Audiomusica Group accepted the accolade at the ProLight & Sound show in Frankfurt earlier this year. "It’s an honour for us to receive this award, and we are really proud to be part of the dBTechnologies’ family,” he commented. “We are very happy with the results we’ve achieved together. I’m not only talking about sales, but also the great teamwork between the two companies. This close rapport gave us a strong advantage when we entered the market.”

The partnership between the two companies began in 2009, with annual sales since then being consistently in their hundreds. Aravena continues, “DVA T4 is a product which hits customers’ expectations directly, and its quality-price ratio makes it very successful within the professional audio market. Certainly the benefits that this cabinet is able to give us make it stand out from direct competitors; the solidity of the components and the design reflecting customer needs places it as a very innovative product with great performance and excellent benefits.”

dBTechnologies’ Business Development Manager, Giovanni Barbieri explains, “Audiomusica is more like extended family for dBTechnologies, as the company was our first official distributor in Latin America. With their help we have seen unbelievable expansion in the area. Armando Gotelli, founder, president and owner of the Audiomusica Group has believed in dB since the beginning, and we owe thanks to him, his dedicated product managers Cristian Gonzalez and Camilo Ramirez as well as the rest of the staff for their continued efforts.”

Meanwhile, dbTechnologies has also utilised the InfoComm 2012 platform to launch its brand new website specifically targeting its US customers. Taking its lead from the main site, a US-centric home page allows visitors to locate their nearest dealer and find out about events around the country.

Coinciding with the Las Vegas show, where the company is also showcasing its DVA S30 subwoofer, the new website is what RCF-USA President, Roni Nevo has been planning for a while. “We want to make sure that dBTechnologies has a stronger presence here in the US,” he explained. Those who click through the site will now be able to read about local events and installs, as well as having usual access to technical updates, software downloads and the latest product news.

“The dBTechnologies brand has been steadily growing here in the United States and we need to make it as easy as possible for potential customers to get in touch with the right dealer.”
