Lenny Kravitz relies on Audio-Technica for Super Bowl set

Lenny Kravitz was spotted using one of Audio-Technica’s high-end wireless systems during the star-studded halftime show at this year’s Super Bowl.

The Grammy Award winner was put on an A-T Artist Elite 5000 Series system with AEW-T6100a hypercardioid dynamic handheld microphone/transmitter for his duet with Katy Perry, which was watched by around 114 million people on Sunday night (1 Feburary), according to official figures.

Featuring two independent True Diversity receivers in a single full-rack housing, the 5000 Series is designed to conserve rack space while providing reliable and flexible performance, offering up to 1,000 selectable channels in each of three available UHF bands. Receivers can be linked to form a complete system in which the built-in IntelliScan capability automatically determines and sets the best available frequencies on all linked receivers. Equipped with Ethernet ports, the 5000 Series receiver also allows for computer management and control, with software included.

Super Bowl XLIX took place at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glensdale, Arizona, and saw the New England Patriots defeat the Seattle Seahawks 28-24 to life the famous trophy.
