Lynx Pro Audio unveils LX-V12 line array

Lynx Pro Audio has unveiled their new LX-V12 Line array and LX-318HC Cardioid sub, both being the biggest that they have released to date.

The LX-V12 includes two 12-inch LF woofers, four 6.5-inch MF transducers and two 1.4-inch HF compression drivers with individual wave guides. The self-powered line array cabinet includes 4000W of class D amplification with PFC (Power Factor Correction) and delivfers 143dB peak, while each cabinet has its own DSP integrated with equalisation, filtering, alignment and dual RMS & peak compression.

Their new Cardioid sub-bass cabinet has three 18-inch low frequency neodymium transducers witg carbon fibre reinforced, straight ribbed cones and Double Silicon Spider (DSS) technology, designed to deliver extremely low distortion. The transducer cones are weather-protected for use outdoors, with optimised air flow reducing heat dissipation. The system is powered with a total of 4200W of class D amplification with PFC and each cabinet has a 56 bit internal processing DSP integrated, offering both RMS and peak limiting, which lowers levels of distortion and protects the speaker components and internal electronics.
