More UK, Swedish studios added to Miloco directory

Miloco has announced four new additions to its studios directory from Sweden and the UK, each specialising in writing, recording, mixing or mastering.

Equipped with a ‘whopping great’ live room, the brand new SpinRoad Recording Studios is located in Gothenburg, while SSL mix room Artillery Studios (pictured), writing facility The Art Studio and mastering studio The Airlab are all based in and around London.

Owned by Brit Award-winning producer Pedro Ferreira, SpinRoad is only the second Swedish facility to join the Miloco roster. Housed in an early 1900s building, the studio is designed to offer a blend of old and new.

Located in the heart of Spitalfields, Artillery Studios offers a mix room home to a 64-channel SSL G Series console, which was originally owned by Big Boi from Outkast.

Originally a Hampstead artists’ studio, The Art Studio was designed by Nick Whitaker (Abbey Road, British Grove) for musician/composer David Bradnum, featuring a control and amp/live room with 15ft-high window and skylights, as well as a 24-fader Avid D-Command desk.

The Airlab, based in Kingston upon Thames near London, is the sixth mastering studio to become part of the Miloco family. The studio is fully equipped with specially selected world-class analogue and digital audio mastering equipment.
