PreSonus Temblor T10 subwoofer now available

The new Temblor T10 subwoofer from PreSonus is now shipping.

Designed to complement full-range studio monitors such as the Eris and Sceptre, without "overshadowing" them, the T10 is ideal for serious personal studios and professional music production environments, with a tight low end and fast, accurate transient response.

The new sub is equipped with a ten-inch glass-composite woofer, driven by 250 Watts of Class AB power; a front-firing, bass-reflex acoustic port; optimised, resonance-suppressing internal bracing; as well as internal damping and heat sink. Frequency response ranges from 20 Hz to 130 Hz.

It features left and right, balanced XLR and ¼" TRS and unbalanced RCA main inputs; if both the XLR and TRS inputs are connected, the TRS input takes precedence. The T10 also offers left and right balanced XLR and ¼" TRS outputs and an extra subwoofer output for connecting another T10.

User controls include input gain (-30 dB to +6 dB) and a continuously variable lowpass filter (50 Hz to 130 Hz) that enables users to create a seamless crossover transition between their full-range monitors and sub for a more accurate listening environment. A switchable highpass filter removes frequency content under 80 Hz from the full-range signal sent from the T10’s outputs to the main monitors, avoiding damaging cancellation and reinforcement in the subwoofer’s upper range.

The T10 also comes with a momentary footswitch that bypasses the subwoofer, highpass filter, and Sub Out. This lets the audio source pass directly through the sub to the monitors, allowing the user to compare their mix with and without subharmonic frequencies, ensuring the mix will sound good on a wide range of systems.

With an expected MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) of $399.95, Temblor T10 also includes polarity invert and a ground-lift switch, along with integrated, gravity-calibrated rubber feet for stable placement.
