Audio Pro International, in association with AllStudios, presents the latest instalment of our Studio Spotlight, whereby we focus on some of the world’s top studio facilities. This week, we take a look at 24-96 Mastering, Germany…

Although based in Germany, Robin Schmidt’s 24-96 Mastering has a large UK client base with whom he works on a weekly basis. Recent clients include Two Door Cinema Club, Jake Bugg, Ben Howard, Michael Kiwanuka, Marmozets, The Courteeners, Emeli Sandé, Blood Red Shoes, The View, Keane and many more.?

His services and state-of-the-art stereo and surround mastering studios are in high demand, having been built around a no compromise philosophy. Schmidt offers mastering engineers a raft of high-end equipment, including a rare Sontec 462 8-band equaliser, Avalon 2077 mastering EQ, a Focusrite Blue 315 Isomorphic EQ (fine-tuned by Jonte Knif), compressors by Neve, Manley, Crane-Song, Jünger and FCS, and point-to-point wiring throughout the studio. ?

Having recently welcomed into the Miloco Mastering fold, Schmidt commented: "I believe we have created a perfect opportunity for UK and European markets to learn about and take advantage of the fantastic service we provide here at 24-96 Mastering. The artists, producers, A&Rs and engineers we work with value our approach immensely. I’m very excited that Miloco is spreading the word! I believe there is no better company out there when it comes to representing studios and I am thrilled to now be a part of Miloco."
