The Warehouse partners with Adamson, opens third office

The Warehouse Sound Services has been appointed the new UK dealer for loudspeaker brand Adamson Systems Engineering.

As one of the largest suppliers of pro-audio equipment in Scotland and the North of England, The Warehouse has now opened a third branch in Lancashire to support the new partnership. The Warehouse has two other offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh, where its HQ is based.

To further establish Adamson in the UK, The Warehouse has also employed former Bose national sales manager Craig Buckley as a dedicated brand and division manager alongside Paul Atherton, who becomes business development manager. Buckley and Atherton will head up the new Lancashire office in Chorley.

“We are very excited to start working with Adamson,” explained The Warehouse director Derek Blair. “The product line is very impressive – everyone who has worked on their PA has nothing but great things to say about the sound quality and technology. This fits nicely into our expansion plans and is the perfect opportunity to provide our existing and future clients the best products available.”

Since it was formed in 1980, The Warehouse has supplied audio equipment for high-profile clients such as Muse, Paramount Pictures, the BBC and the Edinburgh International Festival. The company also has a royal warrant – as a sound equipment provider to HM The Queen.

Janet Murray, The Warehouse director, commented: "Adamson is a long established high end loudspeaker brand that is appearing on many international artist technical riders, it’s gaining very wide acclaim in American and mainland Europe amongst all sizes of rental companies and installations. In particular, the E15, E12 and S10 line array loudspeaker systems offer a range of features that in our opinion are more advanced than the competition.”

Adamson has supplied fixed installations for renowned venues including the Ushuaia Club in Ibiza, Amsterdam’s Paradiso, Palais des Festivals – home to the Cannes Film Festival – Canada’s Rialto Theatre and international festivals such as Canada’s Riot Fest and Rock Werchter in Belgium.

International touring artists including One Direction, Ray La Montagne, Pharrell Williams, Ellie Goulding, Paul McCartney, Daft Punk, Eagles of Death Metal, Imagine Dragons and Lady Gaga have also used Adamson products at venues and festivals across the globe.

“This is an excellent opportunity for both companies,” added Jasper Ravesteijn, European sales manager for Adamson. “The Warehouse is highly regarded in the industry. To add them as a dealer for our products is a feather in our cap. I am looking forward to working with them and seeing them continue to grow the Adamson brand in the UK.”
